Cruise Control

Cruise control is set or standing by.

Nothing to repair

The cruise control symbol indicates that your vehicle's speed-maintenance system is currently active or set to a specific speed. When this light is green or blue, it simply shows the system is engaged and functioning as expected.

What to do

  1. 01Verify if you intended to have the system engaged.
  2. 02Press the cancel button on your steering wheel or tap the brake pedal to disengage the system if you prefer manual control.
  3. 03Consult your owner manual to learn how to adjust or turn off the system features permanently.

Other common causes

This indicator may also blink or change color if there is a system fault, if the vehicle speed is too low for the system to engage, or if the brake pedal is being held down during activation.

How we check it

If the light is flashing or amber, our technicians will scan the cruise control module for diagnostic trouble codes.

Symbols vary by make and model — always confirm in your owner's manual. If the light is red, the car feels different, or the light is blinking, stop and call us before driving further.
