EV Motor / Drive Fault
A fault in the electric drive system is limiting power.
This symbol indicates a critical failure or safety concern within the vehicle's electric propulsion system. It means the car's computer has detected an issue that prevents the drive system from operating reliably.
What to do
- 01Pull over to a safe location as soon as it is physically possible to do so.
- 02Turn off the vehicle and do not attempt to continue driving.
- 03Call a roadside assistance service or a tow truck to transport the vehicle to our shop.
- 04Contact Miles Tech Auto to let us know your vehicle is on its way.
Other common causes
Common causes include high-voltage battery cell degradation, a fault in the power inverter, overheating of the motor components, or a failure in the high-voltage cooling system.

Our technicians perform a comprehensive scan of the high-voltage control module and inspect the battery pack and inverter integrity.
