Low Fuel

Fuel level is low — usually a few gallons left.

This light indicates that your vehicle has reached a low fuel level and will soon run out of gas. It is a reminder that you need to refuel as soon as possible to avoid being stranded.

What to do

  2. 02Refill your fuel tank to a sufficient level.

Other common causes

A faulty fuel level sending unit, a damaged float inside the gas tank, or a malfunctioning fuel gauge on the instrument cluster.
