Stability Control Off

Stability control has been switched off by the driver.

Service soon

This indicator light means your vehicle's electronic stability control system is currently disabled. The system is designed to help keep your car on its intended path during emergency maneuvers or slippery conditions.

What to do

  1. 01Check your owner's manual to find the physical stability control button and attempt to press it to toggle the system back on.
  2. 02Turn your ignition off, wait a minute, and restart the engine to see if the system resets automatically.
  3. 03If the light remains illuminated after resetting, contact our office at Miles Tech Auto to schedule a diagnostic appointment.
  4. 04Drive with extra caution during wet or icy weather while the system is inactive.

Other common causes

A faulty wheel speed sensor, a damaged steering angle sensor, issues with the ABS module, or a loose wiring connection.

How we check it

Our technicians will perform a diagnostic scan to pull specific trouble codes and test the wheel speed sensors.

Symbols vary by make and model — always confirm in your owner's manual. If the light is red, the car feels different, or the light is blinking, stop and call us before driving further.
